2. Personal data we process
When you use the application or contact forms on the website, we may process:
- your full name
- company and professional-role information
- business email address
- optional telephone or WhatsApp details
- company country
- product, category, target-market and estimated-volume information
- commercial requests, project descriptions and opportunity details
- catalogues, technical documents and other files you submit
- submission time and limited technical records maintained for security
- correspondence and meeting notes relating to your enquiry
Please do not include sensitive personal data or information that is not necessary for the commercial assessment.
3. Why we process your data
Your personal data is processed to receive and assess your application, communicate with you, evaluate your request in relation to relevant products, manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, markets or services, manage proposals, meetings and project processes, establish and maintain a commercial relationship, protect information and document security, fulfil legal obligations, and manage disputes and legal claims.
Your data is not used for advertising or bulk marketing unless you have separately agreed to such use.
4. Collection methods and legal grounds
Your personal data may be collected electronically or physically through website forms, email correspondence, online meetings and commercial communications.
The processing is based on the legal grounds that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, necessary for compliance with the data controller’s legal obligations, necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, or necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
If a separate processing activity requires explicit consent, your consent will be requested separately and clearly.
5. Parties with whom data may be shared
Limited to the relevant processing purpose, your personal data may be shared with website-hosting and technical-infrastructure providers, email and corporate-communication service providers, information-security and technical-support providers, relevant manufacturers, suppliers, buyers or business partners where necessary to assess your application, accountants, legal advisers and authorised consultants, and legally authorised public authorities and judicial bodies.
Before application information is shared with a manufacturer, supplier, buyer or business partner, it will, where practicable, be limited to information necessary for the assessment.
Where service providers located outside Türkiye are used, personal data is transferred only when the requirements and appropriate safeguards under Article 9 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 are satisfied.
6. Retention
General applications and communication records that do not develop into an active project are normally retained for 12 months after the most recent communication.
Where an application develops into a commercial relationship, related records may be retained for the term of the agreement and for applicable statutory, financial, commercial and limitation periods.
When the purpose of retention ends, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, you may request information about whether and how your personal data is processed, its purposes, recipients, correction, deletion or destruction where legally applicable, notification of relevant actions to recipients, objection to certain automated outcomes and compensation where unlawful processing causes damage.
